‘Support us in implementing and executing TBAFE’’

Many self-employed entrepreneurs are struggling financially because of the corona crisis. The Government has therefore introduced a new scheme for this target group: the Temporary Bridging Arrangement for Self-employed Entrepreneurs (TBAFE). Self-employed entrepreneurs will receive supplementary benefits for living expenses if their income drops below the social minimum income because of the corona crisis. A loan for business capital is also available to cushion cash flow problems as a result of the corona crisis. Langhenkel-Talenter successfully supported several local authorities with the expert implementation and execution of this scheme.

Approach

An online, interactive TBAFE training course was developed in collaboration with the Langhenkel-Talenter Academy. This was ready before the law was officially adopted. We have trained up and prepared a total of 175 staff members to implement TBAFE.

Result

One of the municipalities for which we provided the TBAFE training was Utrecht. A strong TBAFE team that could collectively process a large number of requests was ready in no time. Not only was the municipality of Utrecht satisfied with this great result, it was also very impressed with the personal, high-quality service provision. Although this project needed to be carried out in a short space of time, we managed to stay in close contact with our client at all times and provided them with a tailor-made solution.

By training up our own staff to be TBAFE specialists as well, we are also able to set up entire TBAFE project teams. Work and Income Lekstroom (WIL) has made use of this service. We provided optimum peace of mind through our experienced TBAFE staff, by providing training for new staff and by continually guaranteeing sufficient staffing even during the holiday period.
